Now for something completely different…

Heather here again. I’ve been making so many Valentines and sweet, pink, precious type cards lately. I do love making them but I was getting to the point where I really needed a change of pace. So, I pulled out a bunch of my funkiest digis and made some cards with a bit of sass! I’ll be putting them in separate posts to make it easier on the swap hostesses and design teams to find them. Here’s my first card:

I used the CPS sketch #54:

I’ve been itching to use this image and sentiment for a while now. What a blast to use them in this card! You can find both digis free from Create with TLC (see the link on the right of this blog). The red polka dot paper is from Cosmo Cricket. The checkerboard is a really old DP that’s been sitting in my stash for ages. I cut the scallops with scissors and although I love the result, it was a real bear to do. I really need new scallop scissors that don’t chew my paper or maybe a die.

Challenges I’d like to enter this card into:

”CPS Anniversary Sketch #54”:

”Polka Dots”:

”Patterned Papers”:

”Use something old”: (the checkerboard paper that I thought I would use much more than I have!)

”fab & funky” :

”Just add Red”:
