Be Mine!

Heather and I have been feeling the love from all the wonderful visitors who have left us the loveliest comments! Wow, thank you ladies! It is so encouraging to read your comments everyday! We decided to play a game and make cards that we could enter into as many challenges as possible. I think you’ll see, we did pretty well on that score! We actually could have entered them into more challenges, but we decided to spread the fun out a bit by making more cards. So, expect to see a couple more in the coming days!

I just want to say a thank you to all the challenge hostesses, design team members, and prize sponsors who work hard to make the challenges happen. I appreciate all the efforts that you put out in order to make it fun for us! I also want to thank all the challenge hostesses who allow us to combine as many challenges as we want to or can. You rock!

Here is my card. This was such a blast to make and I just love it! What an opportunity to break out all the embellishments and just have a party with it! There are mulberry flowers, round and heart gems (my favorite!), and antique buttons from my mother’s button jar. I’m going to have to use more tags in future designs, they’re fun.

Here is Heather’s card. She used an old brass embossing plate for the heart and trimmed around it. The lace was cut on a Fiskar’s punch. She cut out the circles with a Martha Stewart circle cutter then trimmed around the black one with scallop scissors(!). There is a brad under the bow that attaches the front and back of the card so it swivels open.  Heather couldn’t resist putting the dragonfly and bling on there as these are two of her favorite things. We just love these House Mouse stamps. Isn’t that little guy adorable?
